Tracey Cook

Chief Human Resources Officer
Tracey Cook serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Fluor Corporation. She leads the company’s Human Resources organization in support of Fluor’s global workforce of nearly 27,000 employees. She is responsible for shaping the company’s overall people strategy and ensuring that HR initiatives align with business goals while fostering a high-performance workforce through attracting, developing and retaining top talent.
Tracey has more than 36 years of experience in finance, operations, mergers and acquisitions and human resources. Joining Fluor in 1989, she held finance positions at both the project level in the field and in corporate roles. Tracey served as President of AMECO, a Fluor business line offering construction equipment, tools and scaffolding solutions. With AMECO, she held successive roles as the business line CFO, leader of Regional Operations and Vice President, Global Operations prior to being named President in 2014. She was instrumental in selling this global business line and completing the divestitures in 2023.
Prior to her current appointment, Tracey served as Senior Vice President in the Human Resources organization, supporting Fluor’s business segments with strategic talent planning.
Since 2019, Tracey has served on the Board of Directors for Astec Industries and is currently Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
Tracey has completed executive management programs at Thunderbird School of Global Management and the Wharton School of Business. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
