Fluor/AMEC as PMC provided topsides engineering, operations & maintenance support and commissioning services for the successful completion of "Kizomba A," the largest floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facility ever built. Now located off the coast of Angola, the project was commpleted in record time.

The project was located 60 miles off the coast of West Africa. Encompassing more than 30 dry production wells and 26 wet-water injectors, the production facilities operate as deep as 4,200 feet below the surface.

This project represents West Africa's largest deepwater production facility, including 25,000 tons of topsides processing over 200,000 BPD.

The project was completed ahead of schedule despite extremely restrictive constraints. This achievement led to a second award by the client for FPSO Kizomba "B," where Fluor/AMEC leveraged our past success.
